The MBSR Silent Retreat is part of the 8 Week MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) Series based on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn.
Kay Colbert will be guiding the 3-hour mini-retreat, which will involve a variety of mindfulness-based meditations: sittings, body scan, mindful walking, all done in silence.
After checking in with the front desk - students are asked to maintain silence once they enter the specified studio.
This retreat is open to current participants of the 8 Week MBSR series and is included in the cost of their series.
The retreat is also open to prior 8 Wk MBSR series students for a $5 charitable contribution. These funds will be applied to the Hanuman Fund for Yoga Education.
