8 Wk MBSR Silent Retreat

Kay Colbert , LCSW

Kay Colbert is LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker in Dallas with a long-term personal meditation and yoga practice.
 
Mindfulness has been transformational for her both professionally and personally. Kay has 300 hours of training in teaching Mindfulness-Based Programs through the University of California San Diego Medical School Center for Mindfulness. Kay has trained with Kristen Neff and Chris Germer, creators of MSC.
The MBSR Silent Retreat is part of the 8 Week MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) Series based on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn.  
 
Kay Colbert will be guiding the 3-hour mini-retreat, which will involve a variety of mindfulness-based meditations: sittings, body scan, mindful walking, all done in silence. 

After checking in with the front desk - students are asked to maintain silence once they enter the specified studio.
 
This retreat is open to current participants of the 8 Week MBSR series and is included in the cost of their series.
 
The retreat is also open to prior 8 Wk MBSR series students for a $5 charitable contribution. These funds will be applied to the Hanuman Fund for Yoga Education.
